Chicago Date Spot｜Bistro Monadnock 🕯️

I found notes about this place from one or two years ago, but the Lobster Bisque I wanted to try is no longer on the menu... 🦞😢 After posting an Instagram story, I learned that Monadnock Building is actually quite famous — some classmates often come here for coffee! ☕🏛️ People say this restaurant can be pretty inconsistent, but we were lucky this time. 😌 Everything I was interested in on the menu was an appetizer! We ordered Escargots, Steak Tartare, and Foie Gras Terrine. Each came with different bread, and all were delicious! 🐌🥖🍖 But honestly… after the appetizers, we were almost full already… 😅 For the main course, we tried the Skate Wing — crispy skin with tender fish inside 🐟✨, though the sauce on the side was a bit sour. Maybe placing the side salad further aside or serving it separately would be better? 🥗🤔 Not many dessert options, but the sweet corn gelato was quite tasty! 🌽🍨 Without ordering drinks, the price per person is pretty reasonable 💰👍, and the service was friendly.
