Chicago Dining | Perilla - Korean Fusion Cuisine 🍽️✨

Starting a new series to document all the amazing restaurants I've tried! This place offers modern Korean fusion dishes, and since I always struggle with ordering at new spots, I went with their Prix Fixe menu—you pick one dish from each of the four acts. Here’s what my friend and I ordered: 1st Act: 🍣 Salmon Bite & 🦀 Crab Bite – Fresh and flavorful starters! 2nd Act: 🍝 Rice Cake Cacio e Pepe – A creative twist on Korean rice cakes with cheesy peppery goodness! 🍜 Kalguksu Bolognese – Hand-cut noodles with a rich, meaty sauce—absolutely divine! (These two pasta dishes were the highlight—would 100% order again!) 3rd Act: 🍗 Korean Fried Chicken – Not what I expected from "Korean-style." The seasoning was simple and a bit too salty. 🍔 Burger – Decent but nothing extraordinary. Final Act: 🍦 Mugwort Ice Cream – Unique herbal flavor, surprisingly delicious! 🍐 Korean Pear Sorbet – Light, refreshing, and perfectly sweet. 📍 225 N Wabash Ave, Chicago A great spot for creative Korean flavors, though some dishes shine brighter than others! #FoodieAdventures #KoreanFusion #ChicagoEats #ModernKorean #MustTryChicago
