Chicago Eatsο½Girl & the Goat π
π Girl & the Goat β A Chicago favorite! Better value with small plates, and flavors are bold β but heads up, everything leans salty π§. If you prefer less salt, let them know in advance! Favorite dishes: π Scallops β Absolutely incredible! Juicy, perfectly seared with a crispy crust and tender inside. Topped with crunchy nuts β texture heaven π€€. π₯ Pig Face β Solid but not mind-blowing. Personally loved the sunny-side-up egg on top β Iβm a sucker for runny yolks π³β€οΈ. π¦ Duck Tongue β Super surprising and delicious! First time having it prepared this way β fried but not oily, really bringing out the duck flavor. My friend and I finished it in seconds π. Bold move serving this in the U.S.! β Goat Belly β Skip it. The meat was just okay and the sauce didnβt work for me β maybe my expectations were too high. π¨ Dessert β Popcorn Ice Cream β The ice cream itself is great, but the popcorn is very sweet. Best shared between two β finishing it alone might be too much πΏ. π° Total: Around $100+ for two, so about $50β60 per person. Tasty, creative, and worth trying! π Tip: Reserve at least a week ahead on OpenTable β otherwise, you might only get seats after 9 PM π. #ChicagoEats #GirlAndTheGoat #SmallPlates #ChicagoFoodie #MustTryChicago #CreativeCuisine
