Chicago Eats|Jeong – Perfect for a Quiet Date! 💕
Even though I’ve left Chicago, I still miss so many amazing food spots.😁😘 This is a Korean fusion fine-dining restaurant I’ve been wanting to share—truly my No.1 in Chicago! The flavors are relatively light, focusing on preserving the natural taste of ingredients—not overly salty like many American fine-dining places. The fixed tasting menu is $135 per person for 8 courses—pretty reasonable!🙌👍 The Wagyu and scallops were incredibly tender, and the salmon tartare had these crispy pearls that added great texture. The most fun course was the last dessert (—as someone from Tianjin, I tasted a familiar da li gao (candy) flavor in the yellow crispy bits next to the white ice cream. Feels like the chef drew inspiration from China!😊❤️ Went in both May and August—the menu didn’t change much. The space is cozy and intimate, usually not too noisy—perfect for a couple’s date. Dim lighting sets a romantic vibe. If you go early, street parking nearby is easy to find! #ChicagoEats #ExploreChicago #ChicagoFoodie #Jeong #FineDining #Chicago #DateNight
