📍 Evanston｜Tapas Barcelona – Very Spanish vibe, and super attentive service ✨ This Tapas Barcelona is quite famous in Evanston—recommended by many online, especially for their Paella and grilled octopus. We came specifically to try the popular dishes: 🥘 Paella Catalana – Seafood paella 🐙 Pulpo a la Plancha – Grilled octopus 🥩 Filete con Patatas – Spanish-style steak 🐖 Lomo de Cerdo – Pork chop 🍢 Pincho de Solomillo – Beef skewers 🍷 Signature Sangria ✨ Ambiance & Service Typical Spanish tavern style—colorful tiles, hanging ham legs, warm yellow lighting, very Mediterranean vibe. Service was friendly and thoughtful—cozy and relaxed. ✨ Dining Experience The food wasn’t bad at all, portions were generous—but maybe we set our expectations too high from all the rave reviews. It was good, just not as mind-blowing as we imagined.
