Chicago Fine Dining|Who Doesn’t Love a Beautiful Meal? 😍🍽️

🧡 Jeong — Korean Cuisine ~$190 per person (tax + tip included) An 8-course tasting menu — almost no misses! Very Korean fine dining vibe, even the chopstick rest had a "福" (fortune) character 🧧. Highlights: kimchi, octopus with Korean fried chicken flavors, salmon tartare with crispy bits for texture. Only the "Korean jajangmyeon" felt a bit ordinary. Dessert was Asian-style — not overly sweet like American desserts. 💙 Sepia — New American Fusion ~$170 per person (tax + tip) 4 courses + pre- and post-meal bites (though the sourdough bread was not great 🥖). Favorite dish: duck breast — slightly sweet, almost like Peking duck. Short rib was also delicious — sweet and savory, served with crispy bread and broth. Dessert was too sweet for my taste (maybe more suited to American palates). 💜 Avec — Mediterranean Went back for the second time — originally wanted Aba, but parking was tough. Finally tried the bacon-wrapped dates — as good as everyone says! Also ordered crispy short rib and hamachi. Dessert gelato was rich and full of texture. ♥️ The Allis — Brunch in West Loop Had shakshuka — it was okay, not as good as Tatte’s. But the dragonfruit matcha drink was delicious! Across the street, Sawada Coffee is a must — Tokyo-style is even better ☕❤️. #USA #Foodie #LifeInTheUS #ChicagoRestaurants #FineDining #ChicagoEats #HiddenGems
