Chicago Food: Boqueria — Spanish Cuisine 🍴🇪🇸
Located right on Fulton Market, the first restaurant on the left under the iconic sign! We tried almost all the must-order dishes. Their sauces have a hint of acidity that makes the seafood taste incredibly fresh 🦞🍋. Complimentary bread refills — a nice touch! One interesting dish: bacon-wrapped dates with an almond inside 🥓🍇. First bite felt a bit rich, but the flavors somehow just work together 🤪. The lamb skewers come with a sauce that reminds me of the ginger-scallion dip for Cantonese poached chicken — surprisingly delicious! 😂 And the star of the show — the seafood paella 🥘! The rice absorbs all the rich seafood essence, and every bite with different seafood is just amazing 🤤✨. 💰 Price: A bit on the pricey side — with drinks and multiple dishes, it came to around $75 per person for 8 people. 💡 Tips: Order the white sangria — heard it’s better than the traditional red! 🥂 Go with more people so you can try a wider variety of dishes! 👯♂️🍽️ #ChicagoEats #BoqueriaChicago #SpanishFood #FultonMarket #SeafoodPaella #TapasLove
