Chicago Food|Hidden Gem Omakase Spot ✨

Today I explored a super unique sushi omakase spot— Omakase Takeya 🍣 But now it has a new name: Nomonomo Sushi!!! This place is hidden inside a ramen shop—how cool is that? 😮 Though the setting is low-key, the value is incredible, and the ingredient quality is quite good. It’s definitely a hidden treasure for Chicago omakase lovers! If you want a high-end Japanese dining experience without breaking the bank, this is the spot! 🔥 (I booked here because other omakase places I wanted were fully booked lol 🤣) The chef’s skills are great—everything was fresh (no fishy taste at all), though the courses came out a bit fast. The space is small, so reservations are a must 💖. Give it a try if you can! Heads up: They’ve moved and rebranded as Nomonomo Sushi now. (Every time I pass by, it’s packed! Across the street there’s also a yakitori spot I’ll recommend later—it’s amazing too!) 💰 Price: $100+ per person #OmakaseTakeya #ChicagoEats #ChicagoFoodie #100RestaurantsChallenge #ChicagoJapanese
