Chicago Food | Maple & Ash - The Most Impressive Steakhouse š„©
Iāve never been a huge steak enthusiast, so Iām pretty picky about steakhouses. Iāve tried Bavetteās, rumored to be the best in Chicago, and thought it was goodābut not memorable enough to revisit. That is, until Maple & Ash came along! Everyone at the table agreed: this is hands-down Chicagoās most must-try restaurant! š„ š„© Steak š Dry-Aged (28 Days) ā This one has a slightly cured, almost "bacon-like" aroma. Cooked perfectly medium-rare, pre-sliced for sharing, and charcoal-grilled to tender, smoky perfection with a lingering savory aftertaste. My personal favorite! š Filet ā Also ordered medium-rare. Extremely tender with a strong charcoal aroma that doesnāt overpower the natural beef flavor. Highly recommended if you prefer softer, melt-in-your-mouth textures. š¦ Seafood Tower ā Charcoal-grilled with Asian-inspired seasoningābalanced, fragrant, and utterly delicious. The grilled oysters were especially divine, so fresh I drank every drop of the broth from the shell! š¦Ŗš The star of the show! š„¬ Sides ā I always love grilled asparagus at steakhouses, and theirs is exceptionalāsweet, fresh, and infused with smoky charcoal notes. A must-order! š Pre-Meal Bread ā Unique and utterly addictive! The green onions on top were a genius touch. So good we even took two boxes to go! š š° Desserts š„„ Coconut Cream Pie ā Fresh, not overly sweet cream with a satisfying coconut crunch. š« Chocolate Cake ā A rare find: rich, barely sweet, with a hint of bitterness. Absolutely loved it! ā¤ļø The restaurant has a classic, "old-money" vibeāelegant decor and atmosphere that truly live up to its name. Lots of birthday celebrations here! š« š° Price: ~$100-150 per person, $200+ with drinks. Worth every penny! Highly recommended! #VibeDining #SteakLovers #SeafoodFeast #BeautifulFood #ChicagoEats #MapleAndAsh
