Chicago Food | Super Popular Mediterranean Restaurant Recommendations
Comparison of two hot Mediterranean spots in Chicago: Aba ๐ Ema Though both are Mediterranean, anyone on a diet should think twice โ youโll end up devouring so many carbs ๐ฅฒ (Free pita refills are both a blessing and a curse!) ๐ฝ๏ธ Aba Short Rib Hummus โ incredibly flavorful, but might be a bit salty for some. Eat with pita to balance. ๐ Abaโs pita is way better than Emaโs! ๐๐๐ Muhammara โ worth trying! Walnuts give it interesting texture, though the red pepper flavor may be strong for some. Lamb & Beef Kebabs โ the lamb gaminess was quite noticeable when we went, so not highly recommended. ๐ฝ๏ธ Ema Spicy Hummus โ not spicy at all ๐ , just sweet pepper flavor. Friends recommend the lamb hummus instead. Cauliflower โ unexpectedly tasty! Sweet honey + creamy yogurt sauce โ highly recommend ๐๐ป Stracciatella โ rich and creamy, but a friend said it was too vinegary another time โ maybe inconsistent. Lamb & Beef Kebabs โ less gamey than Abaโs, pretty good. Frozen Yogurt โ refreshing and guilt-free dessert ๐ฆ๐ ๐ฟ Vibe Both have nice atmospheres, but I prefer Abaโs โ perfect for a weekend brunch with friends. Great for patio dining when itโs warm! โ๏ธ #Chicago #ChicagoEats #MediterraneanFood #AbaChicago #EmaChicago #FoodComparison
