Chicago Food | The Best Korean Restaurant in Chicago ✨

Today, I want to share one of my favorite Korean restaurants—Cho Sun Ok 🤩 This place makes me want to come back every once in a while. It’s truly a hidden gem for Korean cuisine in Chicago! Although the owner’s attitude isn’t always the best (which is kind of their thing, I guess🤣), the food is so good that you can easily overlook that. Their japchae is hands down the best in all of Chicago’s Korean BBQ places. The Korean BBQ is super authentic, and especially the naengmyeon— the perfect balance of tanginess with no weird aftertaste. You’ll fall in love with it after just one bite! Plus, all the banchan (side dishes) are unlimited, which is amazing 💖 In short, if you haven’t been here yet, you need to go. You won’t regret it! Japchae $15.99 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕 This japchae is my all-time favorite! The glass noodles are chewy and perfectly cooked, stir-fried with vegetables and beef. It’s so aromatic and flavorful. I order it every time I come here! Chadol Gui $28.95 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗 Their Korean BBQ is marinated to perfection. It’s crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, juicy and not greasy at all. They basically grill it for you, and if you still have room, they’ll make fried rice for you at the end (if you can still eat, that is🤣). Naengmyeon $13.99 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕 I order this every single time I come here! The broth is tangy and refreshing, and the noodles are smooth and elastic. There’s no weird aftertaste at all. It’s the perfect dish for a hot summer day. I think both the spicy and non-spicy versions are delicious, so you can order with confidence. #ChicagoKoreanFood #ChicagoFood #ChoSunOk #ChicagoEats #KoreanBBQ #ChicagoNaengmyeon
