Chicago Food Diary šļ½Delicious Unagi Don & Katsu Curry
ćChicago Food DiaryćEntry 01 š¤ A Japanese restaurant right downstairs warmed up my chilly afternoon with a big bowl of grilled eel rice! š„¹ š Unagi Don The good: big pieces of eel, sauce not too salty. The ācould be betterā: missing a bit of that charred aroma and depth in the glaze. š Kare Raisu (Curry with Pork Cutlet) Crispy and tender pork katsu with a mildly spicy, creamy curry ā loved it! The veggies on the side were tasty too š š¢ Tako-Mago-Yaki Classic takoyaki served over mashed potatoes ā surprisingly great pairing! (Though the potatoes were cold⦠slight deduction.) š Mikami Izakaya & Ramen 1400 S Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL 60605 #EatWellStudyWell #ChicagoEats #StudyInChicago #JapaneseFoodChicago #ChicagoLife
