Chicago Food Share|Restaurant Week at Morton's Steakhouse
Been eating a lot lately — weight’s going up ⬆️ but couldn’t resist another meal… so I moved dinner to 4 PM 😂. The ambiance was lovely — the host seated me at my preferred table, and the staff were warmly attentive without being overbearing. Instantly felt good vibes about this place! 🍞 Complimentary Bread — A huge, freshly baked garlic loaf with savory butter. Sooo fragrant and delicious! 🦐 Jumbo Shrimp Alexander (à la carte, not on RW menu) — Butterflied shrimp coated in seasoned breadcrumbs, baked and served with Beurre Blanc Sauce. Grilled lemon for a milder tang — well done! 🥓 Nueske's Bacon Steak — A massive slab of smoky pork belly. Mouthwatering as I sliced it! Drizzled with Worcestershire sauce, sesame seeds, and green onions. 🧀 Prosciutto Wrapped Mozzarella — Italian ham wrapped around a big ball of mozzarella and tomato, with arugula, onion, and balsamic glaze. Tasted milder than I expected. 🥩 Center-Cut Filet Mignon (8 oz) — At $53 on the regular menu, this alone made the RW deal worth it 💸. But honestly, it was the most ordinary dish of the night — seasoned only with salt, decent quality but slightly salty and no wow factor. Probably won’t reorder. 🐟 Horseradish Crusted Salmon — The horseradish crust was tasty and unique! Same Beurre Blanc sauce as the shrimp. Salmon skin was perfectly crispy — loved it. 🥔 Sides: Mashed Potatoes & French Fries — Mashed potatoes were good; fries were frozen-style (lol). 🍫 Hazelnut Chocolate Mousse — For chocolate lovers, this was heaven. Rich, smooth, and nutty — soooo good. 🍋 Key Lime Pie — Pretty standard but tasty. The tartness helped cut through the richness after a heavy meal. 📍 Morton's The Steakhouse 1751 Freedom Dr, Naperville, IL 60563 💰 Price per person: $80–100+ #Chicago #ChicagoLife #ChicagoFood #ChicagoEats #ChicagoPlaces #ChicagoTravel
