Chicago Food Tour š 4 Days, 3 Nights, 8 Trendy Restaurants š½ļø
Just finished hitting up most of the hyped spots in Chicago! Hereās the rundown: š Giordanoās Deep-Dish Pizza & š Portilloās Hot Dog Classic Chicago staplesāworth trying, but not mind-blowing. For Giordanoās, order BBQ + Classic half & half, and ask for extra crispy crust (bottom gets super crunchy!). Be prepared to wait 45 minutes ā³. š McDonaldās HQ (Hamburger University) Global Favorites Menu changes weeklyāfun to try, but flavors are just okay. āļø Worldās Largest Starbucks Lines are crazy long š , but food and pastries restock regularly. When they said the pistachio croissant was out, it came back 5 minutes laterāso wait a bit if you really want something! š· The Purple Pig Overhyped, in my opinion. Every dish was too salty and overpriced. Not worth it. š„ JJ Thai Average Thai foodāno need to go out of your way. š£ Momotaro A Michelin-starred spot, but honestly⦠not memorable. If this is three-star level, the standards might be off š . But the price isnāt three-star level either, so fair enough. ā The Only Semi-Winner: Kasama Ordered online at 9:00 AM for pickup. š„ Weekend-only Foie Gras Danish ā Amazing! š Salmon Danish ā Just okay. š« Blueberry Tart ā Huge and high-quality, though the cream was a bit sweet. š Black Truffle Croissant ā Filling was skimpy and too rich. š§ Te'amo Bubble Tea If you pass by, grab one! I tried the Creme BrĆ»lĆ©e Milk Tea with osmanthus oolong tea baseāturned into a floral osmanthus oolong milk tea. So good! #USA #Chicago #Travel #FoodieLife #Pizza #Starbucks #McDonalds #Burgers #HotDogs
