Chicago Foodie|IL Porcellino 🇮🇹✨
I’ve tried all kinds of Italian spots in Chicago, but this one still managed to impress. The vibe was great — and there was this one bartender (girl) who was insanely cool, totally my type 😳 🍞 Whole Loaf Garlic — easily the chewiest, most amazing bread I’ve had in a long time. Garlic + butter richness was so good, I honestly could’ve just fought this bread all night and called it a meal. 🍝 Pappardelle Alla Porcellino — slightly salty, but packed with meaty flavor. Pork jowl + beef ragù. Not sure what they put in the sauce, but the noodle texture gave me serious biang biang mian vibes. Just order it. 🥣 Orecchiette — my friend’s order. Solid. Slightly spicy, but had a strong herb note (menu said fennel). If you’re not into fennel or the chewy ear-shaped pasta texture, maybe skip. 📍 59 W Hubbard St #2, Chicago, IL 60654 💰 $30–60 per person #ChicagoEats #ChicagoFoodie #ItalianFood #ChicagoRestaurants #PastaLover #HiddenGem 🍝
