Chicago Hidden Gem: Osteria Via Stato 🍝

**Osteria Via Stato** is a hidden gem located in the heart of River North in downtown Chicago. My dining experience here last year was truly delightful! 🌟 **Restaurant Week Menu** Check out their Restaurant Week menu in Picture 2️⃣. It’s super reasonable and great value for money, perfect for those looking to try something new! 💡 **Angel Hair Aglio e Olio** A classic Italian dish with thin angel hair pasta, shrimp, garlic, chili, and spinach. The delicate pasta is perfectly smooth and soaks up the flavorful sauce. The shrimp is tender, and the hint of spice makes every bite incredibly satisfying! 😋 **Slagel Farm Braised Short Rib** I was thrilled to see this dish on the Restaurant Week menu. The beef is braised to perfection—tender and falling apart—served with creamy mashed potatoes. The roasted tomatoes add a refreshing tanginess, and the rich red wine sauce brings it all together. It’s a classic Italian slow-cooked delight! 🍖 I cleaned my plate on both dishes—they were right up my alley! 🍽️ **Tiramisu** Of course, dessert is a must! Their tiramisu is soft and fluffy, with layers of rich coffee and rum flavors. The sweetness is just right, perfectly ending the meal on a high note! 🍰 **Happy Hour Deals** They also have amazing Happy Hour deals: - Sunday to Thursday: 5pm to 6pm - Friday and Saturday: 4:30pm to 5:30pm During this time, pizzas and selected glasses of wine are half price—definitely worth it! 🍻🍕 **Ambiance** Osteria Via Stato has a great atmosphere. The romantic candlelight contrasts beautifully with the bustling street views outside. It’s perfect for a romantic date or a relaxed catch-up with friends. Whether you’re here for their pizzas or a full Italian feast, it’s definitely worth a visit! 💫 #Chicago #ChicagoRestaurantWeek #ItalianRestaurant #ChicagoLife #ChicagoEats
