Chicago Italian (Pasta) Recommendation! The Pasta Bowl ππ₯
I highly recommend this place called The Pasta Bowl β amazing value for money! My first time was at the Lincoln Park location. The name made me think itβd be a casual spot like Noodles & Company, and the decor is pretty simple β not fancy at all (so if you love upscale dining and photo-worthy interiors, this might not be your vibe π ). I didnβt have high expectations, but the food absolutely blew me away β rich, aromatic, and full of flavor! This time I tried the Wicker Park location β the atmosphere is a bit nicer than Lincoln Parkβs. Iβm a fan of Chicagoβs Volare, but honestly β no exaggeration β this is even better (in my opinion). (Volare tends to be too salty for my taste π.) The portions here are huge, and the prices are super reasonable. Pastas mostly range from $15β20, and drinks (yes, even cocktails!) are around $5β10 πΉ β a rarity in Chicagoβs dining scene! I have to highlight the Seafood Pasta β it came with so much seafood I was shocked! After eating half, I took the rest home and there were still a handful of shrimp and scallops left! π¦π€ Iβve also tried the Lucky Penne and Gnocchi Aurora before β both were incredibly delicious! Overall β 10/10 recommend! π #ItalianFood #RestaurantRecommendation #Chicago #ChicagoLife #ChicagoEats #PastaLover
