Chicago Italian (Pasta) Recommendation! The Pasta Bowl 🍝πŸ’₯

I highly recommend this place called The Pasta Bowl β€” amazing value for money! My first time was at the Lincoln Park location. The name made me think it’d be a casual spot like Noodles & Company, and the decor is pretty simple β€” not fancy at all (so if you love upscale dining and photo-worthy interiors, this might not be your vibe πŸ˜…). I didn’t have high expectations, but the food absolutely blew me away β€” rich, aromatic, and full of flavor! This time I tried the Wicker Park location β€” the atmosphere is a bit nicer than Lincoln Park’s. I’m a fan of Chicago’s Volare, but honestly β€” no exaggeration β€” this is even better (in my opinion). (Volare tends to be too salty for my taste πŸ‘€.) The portions here are huge, and the prices are super reasonable. Pastas mostly range from $15–20, and drinks (yes, even cocktails!) are around $5–10 🍹 β€” a rarity in Chicago’s dining scene! I have to highlight the Seafood Pasta β€” it came with so much seafood I was shocked! After eating half, I took the rest home and there were still a handful of shrimp and scallops left! 🦐🍀 I’ve also tried the Lucky Penne and Gnocchi Aurora before β€” both were incredibly delicious! Overall β€” 10/10 recommend! πŸ™Œ #ItalianFood #RestaurantRecommendation #Chicago #ChicagoLife #ChicagoEats #PastaLover
