Chicago Japanese Dining | Omakase Yume 🍣

Just had to check out this must-visit omakase spot in Chicago—it’s super popular and notoriously hard to get a reservation! We booked about a week in advance. The place is pretty small, with only six seats, but the atmosphere is great: quiet and cozy, with really warm and attentive service. 🌟 The price is $225 per person, not including taxes and tips (though they do automatically add a 20% service charge). The meal includes 16 courses: one appetizer, 14 main dishes, and one dessert. The whole experience lasts about 70 minutes. ⏳ The food was **amazing**! My favorites were the smoked salmon and the seared cod rice. The fish was perfectly cooked—tender, flavorful, and just the right amount of fatty. The kanpachi was also fantastic, topped with nori flakes and sesame oil, giving it a rich, aromatic flavor with lots of depth. The tuna was incredibly fresh and melted in your mouth, and the sweet shrimp had a delightful sweetness. The dessert was the perfect ending—refreshing, delicious, and beautifully presented. 🍧 Omakase Yume 📍 651 W Washington Blvd Suite #101, Chicago, IL 60661 #JapaneseCuisine #Omakase #ChicagoEats #ChicagoDining #ChicagoOmakase #ChicagoJapaneseFood #ChicagoTravel #ChicagoLife
