Chicago Korean Food|My #1 Favorite Spot|Been Countless Times 🍗
Sharing my top Korean restaurant in Chicago — New Village Gastro Pub! 📍 New Village Gastro Pub ⏰ Hours: 5 PM – Late I’ve eaten here so many times over the past year — there was a phase where I was obsessed and went every week. Craving-level good, honestly rivals spots in NY and LA! 🧑🍳 Overall vibe: Almost every dish has that signature spicy-sweet buldak (fire chicken) sauce — seriously hot, mouth-numbing, sweat-inducing… but so delicious you can’t stop. 🌶️ Spicy favorites: Tteokbokki – Fiery and addictive 🔥 Spicy Chicken Feet – So hot it brings tears… one bite = one full glass of water 😭💧 Stir-fried Squid with Hand-pulled Noodles – Less intense than the above, noodles are wonderfully chewy 😌 Non-spicy highlights: Rose Tteokbokki – Rich, cheesy, with glass noodles and garlic bread 🧄🍞 (Carbs heaven — the bread is better than some Italian restaurants!) Whole Fried Chicken – Served whole, then hand-torn by the server. Tastes like a Korean version of KFC’s Original Recipe 🍗✨ I’ve tried almost everything on the menu — no disappointments yet! This place is truly "once you try it, you'll keep coming back" type of spot. Let’s go, everyone! 🏃♀️💨 #ChicagoEats #KoreanFood #NewVillageGastroPub #SpicyLovers #ChicagoFoodie
