Chicago Michelin | Refined Nordic Vibes ✨ Elske

Sharing my visit to Chicago's 1-Michelin-starred Elske today! We chose it partly for its good value — comparable to Boka’s 5-course, priced at $130 (before tax) for their set menu on the website. The flavors were pleasant but not mind-blowing — solid yet safe 😅. Still, the presentation and ambiance were lovely — perfect for a date night! 🥂 Compared to Boka, Elske feels more delicate and refreshing. My friends and I thought it was just okay — maybe a matter of taste, so if you’re picky, take note! Portions satisfied us (a group of girls), but bigger appetites might leave wanting (have extra bread — it’s good! 🥖). Overall: 🌕🌕🌕🌑🌑 Great space, vibe, and price — but the flavors felt average to me, so rating stays modest. There’s a Korean fine-dining spot I love more — will share later! Would return: 🌕🌕🌕🌑🌑 Only if other Michelin spots are fully booked, or maybe to try a new menu — not super eager, but open.
