The opening appetizers were delicious across the board π½οΈβ¨ πΉ Opening drink β fresh, lightly sweet, not cloying, with herbs and mint grown right outside their door πΏ π₯ Quail Egg Tart β one-bite wonder with rich, layered textures and flavors π¦ Crab Custard β a canβt-go-wrong combo, silky and full of umami π Tomato + Oyster β bright, tangy tomatoes made the fresh oysters pop π Caviar + Almond β generous scoop of caviar with almond butter and rose jam β floral and nutty notes gave the caviar a refreshing twist πΉ But the main courses fell shortβ¦ One word: SALTY! π© Lobster, Trout, and Wagyu β all overly salty, masking the natural flavors of the ingredients. The only highlight was the milk bread on the side β truly delicious. Desserts were hit-or-miss: π Mango & Garden Licorice β extremely sour π Aged Banana β extremely sweet Overall: A high start, low finish kind of meal.
