Chicago Michelin One-Star Temporis šŸ˜‹ Amazing Vegetables

Celebrated my birthday at Chicago’s Michelin one-star restaurant Temporis. The vegetables were surprisingly excellent—aside from the beef being a letdown, I enjoyed everything else. 🄟 Three CanapĆ©s Wagyu dumpling – tasted like sweet American-Chinese takeout. Caviar & uni tart – fresh and savory. Test tube drink – light lychee flavor, sweet and refreshing. Good! 🄚 Foie Gras with Blueberry Sauce & Granola Tangy berries balanced the richness—not heavy at all, very clean finish. šŸ„’ White Asparagus Beautiful plating, sweet asparagus with crispy toasted bread—great texture. šŸ„• Vegetable Cup The chef’s vegetable skills are on point! Even a meat lover happily finished the whole cup. 🐟 Halibut Seasoning was off—purĆ©e too sour, though the fish itself was fine. šŸ– Lamb No gamey taste, well-balanced seasoning. 🄩 Wagyu My least favorite course. Paired with morel mushrooms that were overly sour. Desserts: šŸ§ Tropical Fruit Tea + Cream Foam – Perfect sweetness, loved it. šŸ« Chocolate + Sorbet + Ganache – Everything was good except the sorbet (sour like plum). šŸØ Pretty but Not Great – Brownie in a… unique shape. Decide for yourself šŸ˜… šŸ° Birthday Meringue Cake – Chocolate inside, served with a candle! My second favorite dessert after the first one. Overall highly recommended! #ChicagoEats #MichelinDining #Temporis #FineDining #BirthdayDinner #VegetableForward
