Chicago Michelin One-Star Temporis š Amazing Vegetables
Celebrated my birthday at Chicagoās Michelin one-star restaurant Temporis. The vegetables were surprisingly excellentāaside from the beef being a letdown, I enjoyed everything else. š„ Three CanapĆ©s Wagyu dumpling ā tasted like sweet American-Chinese takeout. Caviar & uni tart ā fresh and savory. Test tube drink ā light lychee flavor, sweet and refreshing. Good! š„ Foie Gras with Blueberry Sauce & Granola Tangy berries balanced the richnessānot heavy at all, very clean finish. š„ White Asparagus Beautiful plating, sweet asparagus with crispy toasted breadāgreat texture. š„ Vegetable Cup The chefās vegetable skills are on point! Even a meat lover happily finished the whole cup. š Halibut Seasoning was offāpurĆ©e too sour, though the fish itself was fine. š Lamb No gamey taste, well-balanced seasoning. š„© Wagyu My least favorite course. Paired with morel mushrooms that were overly sour. Desserts: š§ Tropical Fruit Tea + Cream Foam ā Perfect sweetness, loved it. š« Chocolate + Sorbet + Ganache ā Everything was good except the sorbet (sour like plum). šØ Pretty but Not Great ā Brownie in a⦠unique shape. Decide for yourself š š° Birthday Meringue Cake ā Chocolate inside, served with a candle! My second favorite dessert after the first one. Overall highly recommended! #ChicagoEats #MichelinDining #Temporis #FineDining #BirthdayDinner #VegetableForward
