Chicago Michelin-Starred Omakase Yume
My notes on Yume are getting less formal ā mostly because I visit every month, and it feels like coming home for a familiar, comforting meal š”š£. The only notable change from last month? Kinmedai (splendid alfonsino) seems to have moved from the specials to the regular menu š. Its flesh is delicate, clean, and super photogenic šø. Lately, Iām totally obsessed with their botan shrimp ā especially with that rich shrimp roe sauce. So good! š¦š And as always, the meal ends with a cozy little bowl of butterfish topped with uni ā sweet but not cloying, just perfect š„£š.
