Chicago Moroccan — Second Time at Marrakech
Had a great impression of this Moroccan spot from my first visit — especially their chicken pastilla and tagine. Last time, the Seafood Pastilla was sold out — been wanting to try it ever since. 🐟 Seafood Pastilla — completely different flavor profile from the chicken version. Packed with all kinds of fresh, bouncy seafood, mixed with short-cut vermicelli, wrapped in crispy, fragrant pastry. Unique and delicious. 🍗 Chicken Pastilla — still reliably amazing. Crispy outside, fragrant inside, topped with a light dusting of powdered sugar — sweet-savory perfection. 🥘 Menara Tagine — table favorite. Make sure to order the one with boiled egg (recommended by the owner). Forgot to take a photo 😅 Lamb was tender,, paired with dried plums to cut through the richness. 🍆 Eggplant dip with pita — also recommend.
