Chicago North Suburbs Delight | Exceptionally Tasty French Cuisine π½οΈ
Chicago is finally warming up, just in time for anniversaries and outings in search of great food. We stumbled upon a French restaurant with over 1000+ Google reviews and a stellar 4.7 rating. π π Francesca's North This is a chain with many locations in the Chicago area. The location is shown in the last picture; we visited the one circled in Northbrook, which opened in 1995 and has been in business for 30 years. The first one opened in 1992 and has been a favorite ever since. Reservations are highly recommended! π We ordered two main dishes: salmon and pork chop. Many people also ordered pasta, so that must be good too! π SALMONE ALLA FRESCA - Pan-Seared Atlantic Salmon. The salmon was perfectly cooked with great texture. The sides included asparagus, avocado, red onion, and tomatoes. It was light and delicious! π π MAIALE DI PIETRO - 15oz Bone-in Pork Chop. It's rare to find pork chops on a French menu. Although 15oz sounds like a lot, the portion wasn't as huge as we imagined, but it's still too much for a small appetite. The sides were bell peppers and creamy corn polenta, which was sweet and paired wonderfully with the pork. Highly recommended! π The restaurant was fully booked during dinner time, and it was packed with people. Reservations are a must! The seats are close together, so it's not ideal for those seeking a quiet atmosphere, but the food is definitely worth it! Also, the pre-dinner bread was amazingβcrispy on the outside. Loved it! π₯ͺ #ChicagoLife #RestaurantReview #ChicagoFood #ChicagoEats #ChicagoSurroundings #LocalFoodRecommendation #FoodieCheckIn #FrenchCuisine #ChicagoFrenchFood #EatingIsAlwaysFun
