Chicago Pig Trotter-Themed Spot ๐ท
Restaurant: Jokbal Night Market Glenview (์กฑ๋ฐ์ผ์์ฅ & ๋ฌด์ฒญ๊ฐ์ํ ๊ธ๋ ๋ทฐ) โ recommended Lots of Korean customers โ got there around 5 PM on Sunday, not too crowded. By 6:30 PM it was packed! Definitely popular. Most customers were families or small groups โ saw a table of 8 probably sharing a hot pot or grill, and the auntie even made them fried rice afterward. So jealous ๐ We ordered the Special Combo, which includes a whole braised pork trotter + a cold dish (buckwheat noodles with veggies) or cold noodles. Price before tax: $59.9 We were two people (one big eater included) and left absolutely stuffed โ couldnโt finish it! Could easily feed 3โ4. The pig trotter was delicious โ rich braised flavor but not salty, skin was chewy but not greasy. The kimchi was refreshing โ not too salty or spicy. The auntie didnโt speak much English, so we used Google Translate to check the Korean menu and pointed to what we wanted ๐ But hey โ that just proves how authentic this place is! Oh, and this street is lined with Korean restaurants โ plus an Hmart up north if you want to stock up on snacks and groceries. Will be back for sure! ๐ #ChicagoEats #KoreanFood #Jokbal #PigTrotter #GlenviewEats #AuthenticKorean
