Chicago Restaurant | Steakhouse RPM š„©
When it comes to Restaurant Week deals, steakhouse is definitely the top choice. $59 for a 3-course meal at a place that normally costs $100+ per personāwhat a steal! š„³ š Appetizers Crab & Scallop Ceviche ā Crab is cooked, scallops are rawācrisp and tender, with a tangy, savory dressing that really wakes up the appetite. Thick-Cut Bacon ā SO GOOD! Juicy, smoky, and tender. Feels like it was pan-fried with sugarācaramelized bottom with a sweet-salty balance. I loved it! š š Main Course Midwest Strip ā Ordered medium-rare. Doneness was slightly uneven (center more rare). The sauce felt unnecessary to meāthe steak itself was lean, more like a sirloin texture. (Not as good as GT Primeās.) š Desserts Coffee CrĆØme BrĆ»lĆ©e with Gelato ā First few bites were nice with the gelatoārich coffee and caramel flavors, good texture contrast. But it gets heavy fast⦠couldnāt finish it. Sundae ā Tasted like a less-sweet version of DQās Oreo Blizzard 𤣠(Menu from Restaurant Week attached at the end.) š Verdict The thick-cut bacon is a must-try! Atmosphere, steak, and desserts arenāt as good as GT Prime though. If I had to pick one, Iād still recommend the latter. #WesternFood #ChicagoEats #ChicagoRestaurantWeek #ChicagoSteak š“šŖš
