Chicago Restaurant Review: Ciccio Mio šŸ‡®šŸ‡¹āœØ

I’ve been wanting to try this spot for two years and finally went with a close friend yesterday! This super popular Italian restaurant in Chicago usually requires booking at least a week in advance. Overall, I thought the food was delicious (details below) and the vibe was absolutely fantastic—perfect for a romantic date! The music was great too šŸŽ¶. We were 4 people, ordered 5 dishes, 2 desserts, and 4 drinks—total came to $360 (tip included), which felt pretty reasonable. Street parking is available nearby, so driving is convenient. šŸ¤ Spicy Shrimp – AMAZING!! Highly recommend. 🄩 Steak & Anchovy Tartare – Just okay for me. The beef was a bit salty and the bread was too hard—skip if you don’t like tough bread. šŸ Lasagna Bolognese Rotolo – THE STAR OF THE NIGHT!!! This lasagna was incredibly delicious—must‑order! 🄩 Coal Fired Ribeye – We asked for medium, but the first one came out bitter. We told the server, and they remade it medium‑rare—perfect the second time! šŸ„” Vesuvio Potatoes – Forgot to take a photo, but also tasty. šŸ° Pavlova – Many people recommend this—gorgeous to look at šŸ’Æ. The outer ā€œpetalsā€ are a crispy sugar wafer (very sweet), filled with cream and ice cream. I liked the ice cream—worth a try if you have a sweet tooth! ā˜• Tiramisu – As a tiramisu lover, I order it everywhere. This one was more bitter than sweet—not my favorite. šŸ“ Address: 226 W Kinzie St, Chicago, IL 60654 #ChicagoEats #CiccioMio #ItalianFood #ChicagoRestaurants #DateNight #FoodieReview šŸ·šŸšŸ’–
