Chicago Restaurant Review: Ciccio Mio š®š¹āØ
Iāve been wanting to try this spot for two years and finally went with a close friend yesterday! This super popular Italian restaurant in Chicago usually requires booking at least a week in advance. Overall, I thought the food was delicious (details below) and the vibe was absolutely fantasticāperfect for a romantic date! The music was great too š¶. We were 4 people, ordered 5 dishes, 2 desserts, and 4 drinksātotal came to $360 (tip included), which felt pretty reasonable. Street parking is available nearby, so driving is convenient. š¤ Spicy Shrimp ā AMAZING!! Highly recommend. š„© Steak & Anchovy Tartare ā Just okay for me. The beef was a bit salty and the bread was too hardāskip if you donāt like tough bread. š Lasagna Bolognese Rotolo ā THE STAR OF THE NIGHT!!! This lasagna was incredibly deliciousāmustāorder! š„© Coal Fired Ribeye ā We asked for medium, but the first one came out bitter. We told the server, and they remade it mediumārareāperfect the second time! š„ Vesuvio Potatoes ā Forgot to take a photo, but also tasty. š° Pavlova ā Many people recommend thisāgorgeous to look at šÆ. The outer āpetalsā are a crispy sugar wafer (very sweet), filled with cream and ice cream. I liked the ice creamāworth a try if you have a sweet tooth! ā Tiramisu ā As a tiramisu lover, I order it everywhere. This one was more bitter than sweetānot my favorite. š Address: 226 W Kinzie St, Chicago, IL 60654 #ChicagoEats #CiccioMio #ItalianFood #ChicagoRestaurants #DateNight #FoodieReview š·šš
