Chicago Restaurant Week|Asador Bastian 🥩 Spanish Steakhouse

Caught the tail end of Restaurant Week at Asador Bastian, a moody Spanish steakhouse tucked inside a historic townhouse. The entrance is discreet, the lighting is low, and it’s spread over two floors. $59 per person included: 🥪 Two small bites Black Truffle & Jamón Toast — tasty, paired nicely with Spanish red wine. Tortilla Española — classic potato omelette, homey flavor. 🥗 Two starters Winter Green Salad with fish mousse Tuna Carpaccio — light and fresh 🥩 Main course options We upgraded (+$25) to THE SANMIGUEL — bone-in ribeye, charcoal-grilled. Good but not amazing. Loved the sweet roasted peppers on the side! 🦐 Added Garlic Shrimp (extra order) Only three pieces — tasty but small portion. 🍮 Dessert Coffee Crème Caramel — very sweet coffee-flavored custard. Overall, portions are modest and pricing is on the higher side (as expected). Glad we tried it during Restaurant Week — curiosity satisfied, mission accomplished 😂 【Asador Bastian】 📍 214 W Erie St, Chicago, IL #ChicagoEats #SpanishSteakhouse #RestaurantWeek #ChicagoFoodie #SteakLovers 🥩🍷
