Chicago Restaurant Week|Bistronomic 🍽️
📍 Location: 840 N Wabash Ave, Chicago, IL 60611, United States I’ve always been wary of French cuisine in Chicago because of some disappointing past experiences. This time, I took advantage of Restaurant Week to try Bistronomic — overall, it was a mixed bag, but I wouldn’t rule out returning to try their regular menu! For Restaurant Week, they offered two menus: 4-course meal for $59 3-course meal for $42 I went with the 3-course option (thanks to a hearty crispy chicken snack just three hours earlier — I wasn’t super hungry 😅). ▫️ Velouté of the Day Rating: 🌕🌕🌑🌑🌑 Today’s soup was Cauliflower Velouté. I don’t mind cauliflower, so the flavor was okay, but it was extremely salty — not recommended unless you love salt! 🧂😬 ▫️ Chioggia & Baby Yellow Beet Salad Rating: 🌕🌑🌑🌑🌑 I wasn’t a fan of the baby yellow beet flavor. The dressing was mostly just balsamic vinegar, and the salad leaned heavily on the “natural taste” of the ingredients — a bit too plain for me! 🥗😐 #ChicagoRestaurantWeek #Bistronomic #FrenchCuisine #ChicagoEats #MixedReview
