Chicago Restaurant Week|Ema Mediterranean Cuisine

Located near Michigan Avenue — even on a weekday lunch, parking was surprisingly tough 🚗💨. After a few circles, we finally found a spot. ✨ Ambiance is bright and open, adjacent to a hotel lobby. Besides regular tables, there’s a well-stocked bar — reminded me of Summer House Santa Monica. Lots of people in business attire chatting over drinks, likely from nearby offices. 📝 Restaurant Week Menu: 🥗 Appetizers — Eggplant dip and roasted purple cabbage salad were both excellent! The bread served with the eggplant was rich, creamy, and lightly salted — so good. The salad with nuts was also a winner — highly recommend! 🍢 Mains — We tried the lamb & beef kebob and salmon kebob. Sauces were tasty, though the Restaurant Week menu didn’t include dessert — only cocktail pairings. 🍹 I chose the only non-alcoholic drink — refreshing with sparkling water, felt like a mocktail. 🍚 We added a rice pudding dessert — basically sweet rice with fruit. Not my favorite — skip it. Overall, a pleasant lunch with standout starters and decent mains. Just don’t expect dessert on the RW menu 😉. #ChicagoFood #ChicagoEats #ChicagoRestaurantWeek #WeekendEats #ChicagoLife
