Chicago Restaurant Week|RPM
So delicious!! Restaurant Week is seriously a great deal here. Went with friends and tried everything on the Restaurant Week menu. Here’s the breakdown: Appetizers: Scallop – Was way too salty that day. Might be good if seasoned properly.😍🙌 Salad – Interesting texture with grapefruit, sweet-salty-fresh combo… but also too salty. Thick-Cut Bacon – BEST appetizer!! Tasted like braised pork belly with a candied crispy top—fatty but melts in your mouth. Loved it! 😋 Mains: Risotto – Very cheesy, full-on American-style. Not my thing, but some friends liked it. Salmon – Seriously mediocre. Just… not good. Steak – Must order medium rare or it gets tough. Pretty solid! The crispy chips on the side were amazing—seasoned like Lonely God snacks but even crispier and less oily. Obsessed.😂😘 Dessert: Crème Brûlée – Okay but still pretty sweet. Second visit – Ordered The Duke à la carte. The meat quality was noticeably better than the Restaurant Week steak—tender and flavorful. But they give you zero sides, so halfway through it got heavy 💦 Many people recommended the octopus, but I thought it was kinda bad… Next time, I want to try their other beef cuts—really excited to taste their wagyu!!! They do beef pretty well. #ChicagoEats #RPM #RestaurantWeek #SteakLovers #FineDining #FoodReview #ChicagoFoodie
