Chicago Restaurant Week — My #1 Pick 🥇

Saw recommendations calling RPM this year’s Restaurant Week winner—booked immediately as a long-time foodie. Until my first bite of steak, I was skeptical… But that lightly charred, crispy crust wrapped around a perfectly marbled, juicy steak won me over completely.👍😊 Steak felt like a lottery though—my husband and I both ordered the same cut, but mine had better fat distribution. He got medium rare, I got medium—mine had better Maillard reaction and a hint of bitter crispness (which I love). The ultra-thin fries with truffle aioli were also great. Tuna tartare was just okay.😘❤️ Onion soup was salty and a bit oily. Dessert was solid—usually a piña colada sundae, but Sunday’s special was an Oreo sundae! Portions were huge—from starters to mains to dessert, we could only finish half the sundae.😍👍 For $60 dinner, it’s great value. Service was also some of the best lately—attentive but not intrusive. #ChicagoEats #RestaurantWeek #RPM #SteakLovers #FineDining #FoodReview #ChicagoFoodie
