Chicago Restaurant Week — The Unusual Way: Dinner Cruise 🚢🌃

Yep, City Cruises is part of Chicago Restaurant Week! You can enjoy dinner while cruising along the Chicago River and taking in the skyline views. 🧊 It was a bit chilly — the boat is mostly glass to maximize views, so heat escapes easily. But it wasn’t unbearable, even on the coldest night we went. We saw ducks and Canadian geese still on the river, and with only our boat breaking the ice, the mist rising from the water looked pretty cool. 🍽️ I didn’t expect much from the food, but it was slightly better than anticipated — kind of like decent wedding banquet level. However, the tiramisu dessert was a letdown — tasted like it came from a “3-minute tiramisu” tutorial. ⏰ Boarding starts at 6:00 PM, but the boat doesn’t depart until 7:15 PM (to accommodate late arrivals). You return to the dock around 9:00 PM. There’s also a live DJ on board — after dinner, you can even dance a little! 💃 📄 Menu attached in the last few slides — help yourself if you’re planning to go! #ChicagoEats #RestaurantWeek #DinnerCruise #CityCruises #ChicagoByNight #ChicagoFoodie
