Chicago Restaurant Week at Beatrix π½οΈ
We visited the Beatrix in Oakbrook β and the overall vibe was just lovely! From the decor to the soft furnishings, the muted, Morandi-inspired color palette paired beautifully with lush greenery π±, perfectly aligned with todayβs aesthetic trends. The lunch menu was $25 per person, including: π₯ One appetizer π² One main course π° One dessert Each dish came in a full-sized portion β no skimping just because of the price! Really felt like they meant it π. We ordered two different appetizers: π₯ Avocado Ceviche A refreshing avocado salsa served with tortilla chips β light, flavorful, and not spicy at all. Could easily finish a whole bowl! π Chicken Meatballs Super tender and smooth in texture, not salty at all. Served on a bed of something soft (beans maybe?) β really comforting. For the main courses: πΆοΈ Green Chili & Chicken Enchiladas Marked as green chili, and you could see chili in the dish β but still not spicy π . Huge portion as expected, couldnβt finish it all! π Prime Burger Made with fresh beef β you can choose your preferred doneness when ordering. Desserts: π₯₯ Chia Seed Pudding A generous portion packed with flavor! Clearly tasted the coconut, mango sauce, and chia seeds at the bottom β great texture. The crunchy topping was a bit sweet, but overall the sweetness was just right. Though finishing the whole thing did get a little rich. π« Tall, Dark & Handsome Chocolate Cake Pound cake base topped with a cheesecake-like layer, drizzled with chocolate sauce, and served with vanilla bean ice cream on the side. We had leftovers, and even the takeout box and bag were stylishly designed π¦β¨ β you can tell the owners really put thought into every detail of the dining experience. #Chicago #ChicagoRestaurantWeek ##ChicagoFoodie #ChicagoLife #ChicagoExplore
