Chicago Restaurant Week 🍴

Name: Dusek’s Board & Beer Address: 1227 W 18th St, Chicago, IL 60608 Price per person: $30–45 For Restaurant Week, they offered a dinner set β€” choose appetizer, main, and dessert for $36. I came mainly for their salmon β€” normally $28 alone πŸ˜„ β€” so this was the perfect chance to try it! Dinner starts at 5:00 PM. Went on a weekend β€” not too crowded, dimly lit, a bit noisy with a party at the bar, but very American in vibe. Best-value order: πŸ₯— Appetizer: Fluke Crudo 🐟 Main: Poached King Salmon 🍰 Dessert: Lemongrass Cheesecake They start with a complimentary tasting salad on a spoon β€” delicious but hard to describe (I’ll just say it was good! πŸ˜…). The Fluke Crudo tasted like delicate sashimi with olive oil, red chili, lime, mint, and pineapple bits β€” surprisingly harmonious! Poached King Salmon β€” the star! Huge piece, crispy outside, tender inside, served with brown rice and tatsoi. The green Venetian sauce was intriguing. Dessert blew my mind β€” Lemongrass Cheesecake with grilled pineapple, passionfruit ice cream, rice puffs, and cheesecake. The rice puffs reminded me of shrimp crackers 🍀 β€” paired with tangy ice cream, it was incredible. Pineapple balanced the richness β€” 10/10! Beer is their highlight β€” but I’m under 21 πŸΊπŸ˜…. Menu changes often, including snacks. Spacious β€” great for groups. Highly recommended! #ChicagoRestaurantWeek #Duseks #NewAmerican #MichelinVibes #SalmonLover #DessertHeaven
