Chicago Shokunin-Gyu Review
Finally, I made it to Shokunin-Gyu for a super satisfying all-you-can-eat BBQ feast! 😋 Recently, I've seen many people raving about this place, so I'm sharing my dining experience today. Overall, the variety of meats is impressive, and there are plenty of appetizers and desserts as well. The dining environment is quite nice, and during meal times, the place gets packed with people lining up. The condiment station offers a wide range of sauces and even has a mixing guide. For starters, there are stir-fried instant noodles, pumpkin soup, fried chicken nuggets, taiyaki (Japanese fish-shaped cakes), and more... On the menu, the beef tongue and grilled scallops don't require extra payment, and the kimchi tofu soup is also very tasty. 🍖 For the BBQ, I highly recommend the various cuts of fatty beef. They're easy to grill and super satisfying to eat. The ribeye, beef short ribs, and both the original and sauerkraut-flavored pork belly are also delicious! Of course, you should order the limited-edition scallops and beef tongue. 🍮 The grilled pineapple🍍, cheese corn🌽, and roasted marshmallows are amazing! They're great for cutting the richness of the meat and make perfect desserts. There are also three ice cream flavors to choose from: strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla. 🥬 The side dishes like kimchi and pickled radish are very tasty. The chocolate-flavored taiyaki is quite unique and has a nice chewy texture. The stir-fried instant noodles and kimchi beef fried rice are also flavorful. There are also braised pig's trotters and fried shrimp🍤. The selection of appetizers and snacks is really extensive! #ChicagoFood #ChicagoDining #Shokunin-Gyu #Shokunin-GyuChicago
