Chicago South Loop | Refined & Photogenic Dining 🍽️

🌟 Michelin Guide-listed πŸ’Ž A treasure of a restaurant perfect for dates πŸ₯‚ Plating is so pretty β€” every dish is Instagram-worthy! Great service, elegant vibe, and delicious Mediterranean-Italian fusion that totally won me over. The dΓ©cor is clean, modern, and Nordic-inspired. Our server even looked like Gigi Hadid β€” supermodel vibes all the way 😍 Just a 20-minute walk south along Michigan Ave from Nema! Besides Γ  la carte, they also offer a classic tasting menu. Everything we ordered was delightful β€” left with a happy belly πŸ˜‹ ‼️ Their Tiramisu is currently my #1 in Chicago πŸ‘†πŸ» 🍒 Harissa Spiced Lamb Skewer ($18) Juicy and flavorful lamb skewers with a hint of fat β€” so tender! Served with fresh cucumber yogurt sauce that balances it perfectly. 🍝 Fiorentini al Sugo Hearty and delicious β€” I love red sauce! Rich tomato flavor with plenty of pork meatballs (a bit firm but not gamey). The rigatoni had great bite, topped with grated cheese β€” so good I wanted to lick the plate (but I kept it classy 😌). 🐟 Grilled Mediterranean Branzino Tender and flaky with a crispy skin β€” even better texture than Nora’s branzino but totally different flavor profile. Not oily at all! Served with sweet onions and tangy green bean purΓ©e β€” a refreshing combo. 🍰 Tiramisu My top tiramisu in Chicago right now β€” so creamy and melts in your mouth! The ladyfingers are perfectly soaked in coffee and just burst with flavor. Plus, the top has a nice crisp layer. Love it! 🍨 The Pistachio Pistachio ice cream cake β€” our server’s favorite. I don’t usually like pistachio flavor, but the salted pistachio topping won me over. The gelato isn’t overly sweet, and the almond-like nutty middle was unique. The sweet tart base was super smooth β€” pistachio lovers will adore this! Overall portions are moderate β€” about $60+ per person. We were completely satisfied after sharing these dishes πŸ‘‰πŸ»πŸ‘ˆπŸ» Next time I want to try their famous black truffle bread and grilled octopus β€” both looked amazing. Friends advised skipping the salad and hummus though. 🌟 Apolonia πŸ“ 2201 S Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL 60616 #Chicago #ChicagoEats #ChicagoTravel #ChicagoFoodExplorer #DateNightSpot #WeekendEats
