π Celebrated my birthday early at STK Steak β wanted to compare it to RPM Steak, and finally had the perfect excuse! π Location: Near Trump Tower β 9 W Kinzie St, Chicago, IL π Bread service was sweet, soft, and dipped in scallion oil β reminded me of scallion pancakes. π¦ Calamari starter β crispy and tasty. π₯© Steaks: 14oz Delmonico with truffle butter, seared tableside with a torch. Crusted with peppercorns, rich and tender, though a bit heavy toward the end (maybe we were just too full!). 6oz Filet Mignon also with truffle butter β buttery, juicy, and luxuriously smooth. Gone in three bites between us. π Lobster Linguine β tender lobster, al dente pasta, creamy sauce. Solid! π₯ Sides: Yukon Mash Potato β decent, but not super smooth. Sweet Corn Pudding β preferred this over the mash! We left happily stuffed (though service felt a bit slow when we were ready to go).
