Chicago Thai Food - Siam Thai Eatery Chicago

Nice ambiance, okay taste – won’t be going back. 😕 🍗 Fried Chicken Wings Flavor was fine, but the crispy skin was a bit too hard for my liking. The first bite had a citrusy juice inside, which helped cut through the greasiness. The dipping sauce was just your standard sweet chili sauce. 🍍 Pineapple Fried Rice The curry powder flavor was strong, but the rice felt a bit wet and lacked that classic fried rice aroma. 🥘 Duck Red Curry The star of the meal! 🌟 A little spicy, and the duck was surprisingly tender with a crispy outer layer. The curry was creamy with a rich coconut flavor. 🥭 Mango Sticky Rice A must-order for me at any Thai restaurant. The mango was a bit sour (maybe not fully in season yet). The sticky rice wasn’t super gluey but had a nice fragrance—I liked it. 🍹 Thai Iced Tea The least sweet version I’ve tried so far. According to my Thai friend, authentic Thai tea is extremely sweet, so I actually appreciated their lighter take on it. 💸 ~$45 per person after tax (before tip) ‼️ Verdict: Average value for money – the atmosphere outweighs the food. There are more unique Thai spots out there, like Tuk Tuk Thai. P.S. I really need to work on my food photography skills… these pics are way too plain. With shots like these, I’m definitely not landing any sponsorships 😂 #Chicago #ChicagoFood #ChicagoLife #ChicagoFoodie #ThaiFood #RestaurantReview
