Name: Cira Location: 200 N Green St, Chicago, IL 60607 Style: Mediterranean Hours: Sun–Wed: 8 am–10 pm, Thu–Sat: 8 am–11 pm Previously shared Time Out Market in Fulton Market — now another Fulton Market spot! Cira is actually inside The Hoxton Hotel, so it’s open all day. Breakfast is pretty standard; lunch/dinner and brunch focus on Mediterranean. The ambiance is absolutely stunning — feels more like a social lounge than a restaurant. Huge glass windows let in warm autumn light ☀️, and the spacious hall is dotted with sofas, armchairs, and low tables nestled among greenery. People lounge around on sofas — some scrolling phones, others chatting in small groups. Even the bathrooms are stylishly designed. But the menu didn’t match the vibe. First, it doesn’t feel super solo-diner-friendly. Second, the dishes are pretty conventional — not very competitive in a city full of great Mediterranean spots. I was curious about the steak sandwich — intrigued by the steak + fresh mozzarella combo.💕👌 But it was disappointing: The sandwich was half the size of other sandwiches And it didn’t even have fresh mozzarella! 😅 After I mentioned it, the manager apologized and comped the dish, saying they’d update the menu (though as of 12/19 on Yelp, it still wasn’t changed — maybe updated this year).
