Columbus, Ohio — Korean Restaurant: Min Ga

One of my go-to spots since undergrad—a warm, family-style eatery with a wide variety of Korean dishes covering almost everything you could crave. The servers are all Korean aunties—kind and friendly, though not necessarily polished or overly attentive. Their banchan (side dishes) are some of the most generous in Columbus! ✅ Overall, it’s hard to go wrong here. Highly recommend giving it a try if you haven’t already! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Bibim Naengmyeon (Spicy Cold Noodles) I’m absolutely obsessed with this dish! Cold noodles topped with beef, cucumber, apple, egg, and radish—so refreshing! Perfect for a hot summer day or as a palate cleanser after a warm stew in winter. It totally satisfies my Asian food cravings. The noodles are already well-seasoned, and they serve spicy Korean paste on the side so you can adjust the heat to your liking. 🍜😋 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Pork Feet (Jokbal) My first try was a revelation! I was skeptical when my friend ordered it, but one bite in—I regretted not trying it sooner. Their pork feet are not greasy or gamey at all, braised to perfection and served with fragrant sesame oil. So delicious it almost moved me to tears! The portion is huge, so it’s easy to get overwhelmed—strongly recommend taking leftovers home. Sprinkle some cumin and chili powder, then air-fry or bake for crispy, restaurant-style grilled pork feet round two! 🐖✨ ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Seafood Pancake (Haemul Pajeon) Crispy on the outside, loaded with seafood inside, and seriously big. Great for leftovers—makes a tasty breakfast the next day! Tbh, most Korean restaurants do this well—haven’t had a truly bad or mind-blowing one yet. 🦐🥞 ❤️❤️❤️ Boneless Kalbi (Beef Short Ribs) Solid, tasty short ribs—boneless is convenient, though I personally prefer the bone-in version here. Still, you can’t go wrong ordering this. Honestly, kalbi tastes pretty similar everywhere—even the $13 pack from Trader Joe’s hits the spot! 🥩🔥 ❤️❤️❤️ Yellow Croaker I’ve tried all three fish options here—they taste similar, just different types of fish. There’s a slight smell when it arrives, but once you take a bite, it’s wonderfully fragrant and crispy-fried. The portion is generous too. Again, fish dishes at Korean spots tend to taste alike—makes me wonder if there’s some shared prep going on behind the scenes? 🐟🤔 ❤️❤️❤️ Seafood Hot Stone Bibimbap Their bibimbap is really good! I love mixing in extra banchan and grilled meat from other dishes—makes it even more flavorful. 🍲🥢 ❤️❤️ Other Dishes Worth Trying Their tofu soup, samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup), steamed egg, sundae (blood sausage), tteokbokki (rice cakes), and other BBQ items are okay if you’re in the mood—but not must-orders. #ColumbusEats #KoreanFood #MinGa #FoodReview #ComfortFood #OSU #ColumbusOhio
