Columbus 2-Day Itinerary (Marathon Edition) 🚀💨
Scoured Xiaohongshu for must-visit spots—was honestly shook by how unpretentious Downtown and German Village are. Hard to describe this trip… kinda like boiling tripe: up and down, sometimes mind-blowing, sometimes a total letdown. 😅 Here’s my real take—hope it helps you plan better and manage expectations! (⭐️ out of 5) Ohio State University ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thompson Library: So quiet, with a stunning glass book wall. Lil Lake: A super tiny pond but photogenic from certain angles. Right near the library. Ohio Stadium: Classic arch entrance. German Village ⭐️ Book Loft: A maze-like bookstore with 32 rooms—they even give you a map! Could be 5 stars if you’re book shopping—some great deals. Otherwise, not much to see. Shops are spread out in a residential area. Wanted to check out a café but it closed at 3 PM 😤. North Market ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Like an indoor farmers market. Decent lobster roll and fish & chips, okay pasta and ramen. Also sells semi-prepared foods and… shoutout to the hydrangeas I bought here—still alive after two weeks! 🌸 Easton Town Center ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mixed indoor-outdoor mall—best place in Columbus for shopping IMO. Brands like ALO, Aritzia, Tiffany, LV… Delamar was 🔥: loved the lobster pasta and salmon tartare ❣️ Brio Italian restaurant: meh. Jeni’s Ice Cream: wayyyyy too sweet 🍦😖 Xiang Yu Northeast ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So. Freaking. Good. Perfect mix of Northeastern and Hunan cuisine. Owner is super nice too! 😋 Fox in the Snow ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (in Italian Village) Amazing egg sandwich—that fluffy bread is everything! 🥪💖 Amazing Wok ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Not bad for iron pot stew (tieshu dun), though the flavor was a bit light. Maybe customize your order. #ColumbusGuide #ColumbusFood #TravelColumbus #ColumbusOhio 🇺🇸✨
