🥩 Columbus Steakhouse Review | Butcher and Rose – So City, So Chic 😍
After an exhausting week, nothing beats a relaxing weekend dinner with family — and we tried the newly opened Butcher and Rose, a steakhouse with a name that’s… intriguing, to say the least 😉 🌹 Vibe & Ambiance: 4/5 Super Instagrammable! The inner dining room is moody and romantic, while the street-side seats offer downtown Columbus views (and lots of police cars 🚓). The first floor can get a bit noisy — but the staircase is a photo op waiting to happen! 🌹 Service: 5/5 They asked about allergies and dietary restrictions upfront. Most dishes can be made lactose-free. Attentive but not intrusive — just right. 🌹 Food & Drinks: 4/5 🍸 The Rose – A must for ladies! Light, grapefruit-forward, barely any alcohol — loved it from the first sip. 🥃 The Butcher – More masculine vibe, not really my thing. 🍞 Fresh-Baked Pastries & Bread – Soft, slightly sweet, with a touch of sea salt. Highly recommend! 🥔 Dirty Tots with Caviar – Tastes like street-style potato wedges, but crispy outside, tender inside. A fun, tasty twist. 🥓 Double-Cut Bacon (from Colorado) – Free-range, mountain-raised pigs 🐖… but a bit too salty for me. 🥩 Main Courses Beef Wellington – Filling was a bit salty, and the asparagus was very salty. Ask for less salt! Cod with Miso Broth & Wontons – Light and lovely. My dad found it salty, but he eats very mild — my brother liked it. Steaks (Medium) + Mushroom Side – Absolutely delicious. This is what they do best! 🍮 Dessert Crème Brûlée with Berry Sorbet – Yes, it’s sweet (it’s America 🍰), but the sorbet balances it beautifully. Portions are large — share between 2–3 people. 💡 Pro Tip: Request a window seat for city views or an inner booth for a cozier vibe when you reserve! #ButcherAndRose #ColumbusSteakhouse #DateNightVibes #WellingtonWednesdays #CityDining
