Croatian Cuisine | Dubrovnik Food Guide
ππ· Heritage of Dubrovnik A historic restaurant specializing in traditional Dalmatian recipes passed down through generations. Excellent service! We ordered: π¦ͺ 2 Oysters - My friend said they were incredibly fresh. Great for sampling without overordering. π· Pasticada with Homemade Gnocchi - Tender beef in a rich red wine sauce (tasted familiar somehow), perfect with their fresh bread. π Grilled Sea Bass Fillet - Finally tried it! Crispy skin with moist, flaky flesh. ππ· Lady Pi-Pi Near the cable car (warning: lots of stairs!). A tiny family-run spot with no AC but loads of charm. Surprisingly, seafood was pricier than meat here. π Grill Meat Platter for 2 (β¬44) - Freshly grilled chicken, pork, Δevapi (Balkan sausages), and fries. Massive portion - could feed 3! Meats were juicy (especially the springy Δevapi), though fries were soggy. ππ· Dalmatino Dubrovnik (HIGHLY RECOMMEND!) Waited a bit for a table but worth it! Standouts: π₯© Beef Tartare - Lightly seasoned with perfect texture. Served with crispy bread. π Octopus Salad - THE STAR! My first octopus salad this trip - fresh, tangy-sweet, and addictive. π Beef Cheek Hand-Rolled Pasta - Melt-in-your-mouth cheek (perfect!) though pasta itself was too soft. ππ· Dubravka 1836 Restaurant & Cafe (Meh) π Assorted Fish Plate (β¬33) - Smaller than expected (server gave us a puzzled look when we ordered just this). Grilled potatoes with Mediterranean herbs were delicious though. Not bad, just underwhelming. #Croatia #CroatiaTravel #DubrovnikEats #GameOfThronesLocations #EuroTrip
