Croatian Food Guide 🇭🇷

Dubrovnik These three are probably the hottest spots in town. My top pick is Dubravka 1836 (P4) - perfect for brunch with amazing views and great photo ops! 📍 Barba - Specializes in burgers and seafood fries. Must-try: shrimp burger (huge portion!). 📍 Lucin Kantun Dubrovnik - My #1 recommendation! Their beef stew pasta and crème brûlée were so good we licked the plates clean.. 📍 Konoba Kenova - Underrated gem with dock views. The beef tenderloin and mussels were so fragrant they attracted bees! Hvar 📍 Dalmatino Hvar - The island's most famous spot. Their black truffle gnocchi is heavenly (steak and octopus salad are decent). 📍 Grande Luna - My personal favorite! Their potato fish soup looks plain but is packed with umami - perfect with bread. The fish is fresh and portion generous (skip the pasta). Split 📍 Kantun Paulina - A must-try Croatian "burger": giant grilled meat wrap stuffed with onions, pickles and cheese. Pair with lemon beer! Zadar 📍 Restoran Bruschetta - The old town's most popular restaurant. Great seabass and pasta in a lovely setting. Zagreb 📍 KAVKAZ kazališna kavana - Offers National Theater views, ideal for brunch/coffee. 📍 La Nostra Casa - A surprise find! Their paper-baked sea bream had crispy skin and tender flesh. The cheesy pasta steak was also superb. Feels like a cozy family-run spot. #Croatia #CroatianFood #DubrovnikEats #TravelFoodie #FoodDiaries #CroatiaTravelGuide
