Dallas Family Adventure: A Food and Fun Journey with Kids

Seattle Family of Four in DFW: In April, we escaped the drizzle of Seattle and embraced the warm sun of Dallas. Big thanks to our local friends for their amazing recommendations! 🍽️Day 1: Play: Perot Museum of Nature and Science: It’s huge, new, and packed with exhibits! You can easily spend a whole day here. It features advanced interactive projects in various fields and even has six donated Nobel Prize medals.🥹 Eat: Hutchins BBQ, which many consider the best BBQ in Dallas. My personal favorite is the Texas Twinkies. 🌼Day 2: Play: Dallas Aquarium: It’s more like an indoor zoo with a variety of animals, birds, fish, and even reptiles. While sorting through photos, I realized we had pictures of the "Four Great Beasts." Play: Frisco Public Library: It’s massive, modern, and luxurious! There’s a huge T. rex fossil, a play area for little kids, and a STEM zone for older children. The activity area is like a smaller version of Seattle’s KidsQuest Museum. Best of all, it’s completely free! A great place for families and schools. Eat: Hard Eight BBQ, which was also fantastic. 🧡Day 3: Play: Dallas Zoo: There are plenty of animals and lots of opportunities to get close to them. The keeper talks are very informative. Eat: Eggplant Dragon was great, but it’s more suitable for a larger group. We had leftovers with just the four of us. The handmade noodles from the chef were also delicious! Night Play: Windhaven Meadows Park Playground. The water play area was amazing. #NorthAmericanLife #FamilyFunInNorthAmerica #DallasTravel #ParentingInNorthAmerica #TravelInNorthAmerica
