Dallas Uptown Restaurant Reviews
🌟Once again, by a stroke of serendipity, I found myself in Dallas—a city that, under normal circumstances, would never cross paths with my life. As a fleeting visitor, my recent haunts have mostly been centered around the Starbucks in Uptown, and in the quest to sustain myself, I’ve sampled quite a few restaurants in the area. 🍳This neighborhood doesn’t offer much variety; it’s primarily dominated by American steakhouses, with a few Mexican spots thrown in. My go-to meals are pretty standard: steak, Caesar salad, wedge salad, and Brussels sprouts. When it comes to steak, I stick to ribeye. One thing that can set a restaurant apart here is simple: use less salt. ✨ The Henry This place is truly a working stiff’s cafeteria. The salmon is cooked to perfection—tender and delicious, though the food is a bit on the salty side. ✨ Haywire The steak here is top-notch and would rank among the best in the area. However, it’s only available for dinner. For lunch, the pork chop is a solid choice—it’s a thick cut, not overly fatty but still flavorful and not dry. 👏Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse The food here is decent, with set menus available. The steak isn’t my favorite type, but their creamed spinach is worth trying. The salmon, unfortunately, is a bit undercooked, as shown in the photo. #DallasFood #DallasUptown
