DC Eats|La Bonne Vache – The Good Cow Spot 🐮
I've been wanting to come here for ages, and finally stopped by during the holidays for a quick bite! I visited in the afternoon, just looking for a place to grab a quick meal. The interior has such a cozy, French-inspired vibe – even at 3 PM, it was completely packed! 🥖🍷 Escargot Bourgogne – Served with hazelnut, parsley, and garlic. Really tasty, though it’s not served in sizzling oil like some places, so it lacks that extra aromatic punch. Cuisse de Grenouille – Wow, super tender! It kinda gave me Buffalo Wild Wings vibes 🐸😂 but personally, I still prefer the chewy texture of Chinese-style frog legs. Probably won’t order this again. Frites au Fromage – As a serious french fry lover, these were sinfully good. So cheesy, so satisfying! 🧀🍟 Roti de Bœuf – Pretty standard, but still tasty. Nothing to complain about! Overall, this place is a safe bet – great atmosphere and definitely worth a visit! One thing to note: They automatically add a 20% service charge (though the service really was excellent!). So… would you give it a try?
