DC Ethiopian Cuisine 🇪🇹🍛

Restaurant: Enjera Restaurant Located in Crystal City—plenty of street parking available, so it’s easy to get here by car! 🚗 With over 1,000 Google reviews, this spot has clearly been around for a while and built up a loyal following. We started with the Sambusa with beef—crispy, flavorful, and delicious! 😋 For the main course, we ordered the Meat Lover Combo for One and the Vegetable Combo for One. The portions were generous—enough for three people to share comfortably. Since we weren’t super hungry, we couldn’t finish it all! The enjera (the spongy, towel-like flatbread) was soft, slightly tangy, and full of those signature fermented bubbles—perfect for scooping up the stews and veggies. 🫓 The flavors across the dishes were a balanced mix of tangy, salty, and spicy—very approachable, and some of the meats were especially well-seasoned and tender. 👍 Fun side note: If you visit in the winter, you’ve got to check out the super powerful space heater in the restroom—it’s next-level warm! ☀️❄️ 💰 About $24 per person.
